This visit allows us to meet one another in person (along with your partner or other friends/family if you desire) so that we can get to know one another and discuss your birth plans and describe doula support in more detail.
Typically I will meet with you one to two times prior to attending your birth. During this time we have the opportunity to get to know one another better and it provides the time to better plan for your specific needs.
During the weeks prior to your birth we will establish your desires and I will meet you at the location of your choice to support you during the childbirth process. Following the birth of your baby I stay until I am no longer needed.
Following the birth of your baby I will help with initial breastfeeding and am available for additional support as you need it both on the phone and in person.
Postpartum support is as vital as support during pregnancy and childbirth. For this reason I will see you in the first few days after you have arrived home with your baby and then one other time during the postpartum period.
Upon hiring me as your Childbirth Doula I make myself available to you for unlimited email and telephone support.

Let your family and friends assist in preserving your birth memories by contributing toward the cost of your Childbirth Doula service. Together we will design a registry that will allow your loved ones to make gift giving meaningful and easy.
